Koji - 16 yrs. old

Since Koji had to do some growing up at some point in his story, his appearance will have to change as well. One thing I sort of regret on this drawing is that I forgot to put the trademark excess bootstraps on the sides of his greaves. Note the claw gauntlet on his right hand; the leather jacket tailored to have the sleeves removed, and his pony tail has also been removed. His weapon, Der Krieghund, is still his primary offensive tool, although he's no longer as small compared to the blade as he used to be.
Originally, before I started revising his story; at this age, I had Koji taking his younger brother Yoshi to the Red Dawn. Much to Koji's chagrin, Koji has been assigned as his Drill Instructor; Koji wasn't exactly planning to do some harsh yelling to his younger brother MTI-style. Now that would be an interesting image; the Demon Child himself all pimped out as a Military Training Instructor.
As before, Koji was based on an amalgamation of characters; Zero from Megaman X, Dante from Devil May Cry, Siegfried from Soul Calibur, InuYasha, and Sora from Kingdom Hearts. The artwork that I used for the basis of his design have been inspired by both the artist that designed the Megaman X series (from Megaman X4 onward) and Tetsuya Nomura. There's definitely a Tetsuya Nomura feel to this one.
